What is the Einbürgerungstest?
The Einbürgerungstest (also known as the 'Leben in Deutschland' test) is a state-mandated test required for naturalisation in Germany. It consists of 33 questions drawn from a pool of 310 – 17 general questions and 3 specific to your federal state. You need at least 17 correct answers to pass.
Which languages does Vatra support?
Vatra is fully available in five languages: Turkish, German, English, Russian and Arabic (with full right-to-left layout support). The interface adapts automatically.
Is the app free?
Core features – including the test training – are free. A subscription is available for the personal progress tracker and additional premium features.
How up to date is the requirements information?
All requirements and document lists are sourced directly from official authorities (BAMF and state offices) and displayed with source links and retrieval dates. Individual situations may differ – please verify with your local Ausländerbehörde.
Does the app tell me whether I qualify for citizenship?
